In high-voltage circuit breakers, hydraulic buffers are vital core components. During the opening and closing operations of the circuit breaker, the mechanism drives the moving end of the arc extinguishing chamber to the specified position. High-speed movement generates severe impact, and metal-to-metal impact inevitably causes rebound. The rebound reduces the contact gap distance, lowers the dielectric withstand voltage of the contact gap, and may lead to opening/closing failure in severe cases.
CJAC has developed dedicated hydraulic buffers for circuit breakers, which can effectively absorb the impact energy generated during opening operations and minimize rebound.
To reduce arcing time, circuit breakers require the fastest possible opening speed. To minimize the impact on the opening speed of the circuit breaker, we have specially designed a front stage with relatively flexible damping.
