Weitang Town, June 9, 2023 — In order to deeply carry out the 22nd national "Safety Production Month" activity, the Town Safety Committee Office decided to hold the launching ceremony of the 2023 Weitang Town "Safety Production Month" along with a town-wide confined space emergency drill. The Weitang Town Government joined hands with Suzhou C-JAC Technology Co., Ltd. to co-host a grand launching ceremony for "Safety Production Month" and a town-wide confined space emergency drill.

The launching ceremony was held grandly at the square in front of the building of Suzhou C-JAC Technology Co., Ltd. Among those present at the ceremony were leaders from the Xiangcheng District Emergency Management Bureau, leaders of the Weitang Town Government, senior management of C-JAC, and personnel from relevant member units of the Town Safety Committee.

After the launching ceremony, representatives from various industries across the town participated in a unique confined space emergency drill. This drill was designed to improve the enterprises' response and handling capabilities in the face of emergencies, as well as their proper use of confined spaces and rescue methods. Suzhou C-JAC Technology Co., Ltd. conducted a realistic simulation of the "Five-Minute Pre-shift Safety Education." The purpose of this activity is to utilize a brief five-minute period before the start of each workday to provide necessary safety education and accident prevention knowledge, further enhancing employees' safety awareness and emergency capabilities.
The Weitang Town Government stated that this confined space emergency drill is an important part of the Weitang Town Safety Production Month activities, aimed at increasing enterprises' attention and response capabilities regarding confined space safety. Through practical operation and drills, enterprises can better understand the potential risks in confined spaces and learn the correct methods of self-rescue and mutual rescue, thus preparing for potential hazardous situations that may arise in daily work and life.
