In automated warehouses, the stacker crane is the core "porter"—capable of traveling at speeds of 300 meters per minute and lifting loads of up to 5,000 kilograms, ensuring the swift and stable flow of goods. And the hydraulic buffer acts like the stacker crane's "safety bodyguard," silently safeguarding its smooth operation; without it, things simply wouldn't work.

The most critical function of a hydraulic buffer is to help the stacker crane "dispel force." For instance, when a stacker crane malfunctions and goes out of control, or needs to make an emergency stop, the enormous kinetic energy it carries could easily cause a destructive collision. That's when the hydraulic buffer comes into play: its internal hydraulic oil is forced through a special porous structure, converting the stacker crane's impact energy into heat and dissipating it, bringing the crane to a gentle stop. Buffers like the BHD series can absorb massive impact forces, preventing the stacker crane from tipping over or crashing into the rails, protecting both the machine itself and preventing goods from toppling and getting damaged. Even in extreme environments ranging from -40°C to 120°C, such as cold-chain warehouses, it operates normally and won't "let you down."

In practice, choosing the right buffer is extremely important. It's essential to consider the stacker crane's fully loaded weight and travel speed, and calculate the required energy absorption capacity to ensure the buffer can withstand the force. If the warehouse has particularly tall racks exceeding 24 meters, buffers must be installed at both ends of the upper and lower guide rails to prevent tipping. If the warehouse has a very high turnover rate and the stacker crane is busy non-stop all day, the buffer must also endure repeated impacts—some buffers can withstand 5 million impacts without requiring frequent maintenance. Buffers like the KCSC series, with their long "force absorption" stroke and high resistance capacity, are ideal for high-speed stacker cranes, and they also help the cranes run more smoothly.

Furthermore, the hydraulic buffer doesn't work alone; it collaborates with the stacker crane's emergency stop buttons and over-travel protection devices to form a comprehensive "safety protection net." With it in place, the crane's operational vibration is reduced, and its operating noise can be controlled to within 65 dB, creating a quieter warehouse environment. Whether in an e-commerce warehouse or a high-bay warehouse for automotive parts, the hydraulic buffer is quietly making a contribution: reducing machine damage, extending the service life of the stacker crane, and lowering the warehouse's operational costs, becoming a vital partner in the efficient operation of intelligent warehouses.
