To achieve the national goal of carbon neutrality, analysis of current data shows that coal accounts for 54% of China's primary energy structure. By 2050, China's total annual energy consumption will be lower than it is today, and the share of coal will drop to a very low level. The entire energy industry will undergo a fundamental transformation. Specifically, by 2050, energy consumption in three major sectors will be reduced to the greatest extent: industry by 26%, the automotive sector by 27%, and the building sector by 26%. CJAC actively shares its social responsibilities and, within the industrial sector, is committed to developing hydraulic buffers as components that contribute to industrial energy saving and emission reduction.
To achieve "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality," industry's main pathways are to promote energy conservation and efficiency, implement electricity substitution, strengthen dual control over energy consumption, faithfully prioritize energy efficiency, and reasonably control total energy consumption. Based on product assessments, CJAC evaluates the environmental impact of its products throughout their life cycle, focusing on longevity, energy saving, and safety, thereby contributing to the achievement of carbon neutrality.
First, attention must be paid to high‑energy‑consuming industries: steel, chemicals, and cement are key targets for low‑carbon strategies. In the steel industry, installing hydraulic buffers can effectively improve production efficiency, achieving energy‑saving goals that extend from individual links and localized savings to overall process and system‑wide efficiency. Accelerating the digitalization and information technology application in the energy‑saving field is expected to improve overall industrial energy efficiency by more than 15%.
Second, industry must optimize its industrial structure, enhance production efficiency, and strengthen innovation capabilities. It is necessary to continuously refine the industrial structure, increase industry concentration, and boost investment in innovation. To effectively eliminate excess capacity, the industrial sector needs market‑based adjustment mechanisms. In the course of industrial development, factors such as energy efficiency, environmental protection, safety, and quality should be comprehensively considered; the industrial structure layout should be optimized; production factors should be allocated rationally; and excess capacity should be curbed and eliminated. CJAC hydraulic buffers, by improving efficiency and extending service life, can assist enterprise equipment and help conserve resources for society.
